Program and hymn lyrics for Sunday afternoon Vesper service conducted at Melton Field, on Greene Street campus at University of South Carolina; 16 members of the music committee listed include Marice Matteson, Chairman, Fred Parker, and M. Berry Seay, whose music appears in the program. Handout also lists scheduled events around the city, ca. Wednesday, 18 Mar.-Thursday, 26 Mar. 1936, several of which commemorate ratification of the U.S. Constitution, including reenactment at State House "by Senators and Representatives" of "Charleston Legislative Scene (22 Mar. 1786)"; crowning of "Miss Capital City as Queen"; "tilting contest"; pet parade; depositing of records; and various presentations of historical pageant, "Spirit of Columbia."
